Ventus

This little guy is unpredictable when it comes to photo sessions and he absolutely has a mind of his own. Does what he wants haha. But the more I photograph him the more his parents and I learn new ways to help him feel more at home during his sessions. These Spring Shoppe images turned out so awesome. Brock

I had this handsome guy in the studio a couple weeks ago. He did a great job and was the perfect little model. He was on the go but with his mama’s help I was still able to get some amazing shots of him. Happy Easter sweet boy.

Purdy's Rainbow's

For almost a year now I have been thinking of away to use my passion of photography to add some love back into the world. I wanted to create something that would open peoples minds to the fact that as a photographer I am human too. Life is not always rainbows and butterflies and I also have my share of struggles. With that being said this is where The Mary Purdy Photography’s Rainbow Baby Project comes into play. After a long debate I decided to name it “Purdy’s Rainbow’s”! All three of my beautiful, perfect, daughters are rainbow babies. This is something I hold very close and dear to my heart. Not a day goes by that I do not wonder how life would be with those children my husband and I have lost. But having these wonderful girls here with us is the most amazing feeling in the world. Words can not explain the joy these little ladies bring to us everyday. I want to be given the chance to add more joy into someone’s life who has struggled like we have. These sessions will be given to families who are pregnant with or have given birth after a miscarriage, still birth, infant loss, or child loss. I know from experience I can not fix the hurt but I hope that I can add a little more color into someone’s storm.

Charlie

With out further ado here is a glimpse of the very first Rainbow baby session for my project. Meet Charlie, I do not know the complete story behind how this sweet boy came to be but I can tell you from experience working with him that he is wonderful. A true blessing. These images are proof of how happy and fun this adorable boy is. He was the absolute perfect model to kick off this project and I’m happy his mom contacted me when she did. This smash is one for the books, that’s for sure. Charlie had fun from the start. He giggles, he laughed, he threw confetti, and he ate cake. He managed to splash all the water out of the tub but that’s ok, because he had so much fun doing it. Happy two years young Charlie, I hope your second birthday is as wonderful as you.

Miles

This guy was such a joy to have in my studio. He was full of personality and as you can see from the pictures he loved his cake. I was so excited to shoot this set up because it is so classic and not over the top. Leaving all the attention on the sweet model. Happy Birthday Miles I hope it is a fantastic day.

Reagan

This beautiful girl came into my studio to model a simple but still very beautiful set so she could celebrate her 1st birthday. She was on the go that’s for sure and we basically went to the beat of her drum lol. I love how beautiful this simple set turned out. Happy Birthday Reagan! I hope it’s as awesome as you.

Blake

I LOVE this gallery. This mama told me to do what ever I wanted as far as set ups and colors. I decided to go pretty neutral with a touch of blue. This gallery turned out so beautiful and whimsical. Exactly what I have been wanting to accomplish. This was my 12th Newborn session and I'm really enjoying what I have been creating. Congratulations to the Vartanian family. Blake is perfection. It was so hard to narrow your collage down to just 8 images. I saved some of the best ones as a surprise.

Easter/ Spring Sessions

New look!

It's been a really busy couple weeks for me, between all the reschedules I had due to the ice and snow. My regular mama schedule and Cheer competitions starting. I have been working on this beautiful newborn gallery off and on for about two weeks now. I can not wait to finish in a couple days. I went a little out of my element with this set up. Trying to make myself use colors I would otherwise not use. I always gravitate towards super bright set ups with bright colors. I am so glad I decided to challenge myself. I am in love with how these turned out. I had to share. I also know my friend Lindsay Vartanian is probably hoping to get a sneak peek of her handsome little man, haha. Love you girl!! So here he is, handsome little Blake all snuggled in with his teddy.

Molly

I first photographed Molly for her 1st birthday cake smash session. When her mama contacted me to do her 2nd birthday I was so excited. They picked on of my “Let there be cake” set ups. Gosh did it turn out beautiful. Molly was the perfect model for this set up. Her blond hair and the colors I chose to add gave me a “Alice in Wonderland” vibe. I’m really enjoying two year cake smashes so much. Happy Two years Molly.

Owen

This backdrop is so lovely. This was one of the “Let there be cake” set ups. I am over the moon excited about how amazing this looks. Owen was the absolute perfect little model for this set up. He wasn’t really a huge fan of my camera or his cake but I was still able to get so many perfect images of him. With the help of his mothers of course. Happy 1 year little Owen! Enjoy his gallery.

Corinne

Another “Let there be cake” set up. Corinne is such a beautiful little girl. This set up was made for her. All the colors are so clean, bright, and beautiful. She was seriously such a good little smasher and loved her cake. Several times she wanted to stop eating but she wouldn’t haha. I haven’t had a smasher love their cake this much in a while. Happy two years Beautiful girl.

This is another one of the set ups form my “Let there be cake” promotion. I LOVE it soo much!! So fresh and clean! Maybe spring is closer then we think?

Lilly

Recently I have be blessed with lots of Two year cake smashes. I can probably thank COVID for that. I really believe that it's never too late to enjoy cake. Two year cake smashes are so fun. If you missed having your little ones One year cake smash due to COVID. Why not celebrate at two? Beautiful Lilly was such a blast. Just look how adorably fun these images are.

Pastel Palette Balloon Wall

The first of my “Let there be cake” set ups to be edited! I love the colors and love the fact that I was able to photograph a super smart, silly, two year old for this set up!

Ventus

This was the very first time I have met Ventus and his family. He wasn’t in the best mood when he arrived but he slowly started to open up and became so much more comfortable. He is such a sweet handsome little guy and I hope I get to photograph him in the near future.

Gavin

I have been photographing Gavin since he was just a little baby. I’m so glad I was able to see him for his Valentine’s session. Gavin is such a fun happy kid and has such a huge personality. I can’t wait to continue to photograph him maybe we have a ghostbusters session in our future?

Lewa

I first met beautiful Lewa when she was just a little baby, not even a year old. I was lucky enough to see her back again this year for her Valentine’s pictures. These pictures turned out so perfect. Lets not forget to mention how stunning this blue dress looks. Her mama picked it out, right form my client closet.

Tallon

I met these three adorable kids last week for their Valentine’s session. They did such a great job. Hopefully I can see them back soon. I hope you enjoy your gallery Tallon Family.

Roman

I met this sweet handsome guy and his wonderful mama about a year ago. I was lucky enough to photograph his 2nd birthday session this year. When hi mama contacted me with what she wanted I was so excited to put it together for her. I love how this turned out. Happy 2nd Birthday Roman

Love is in the air

I LOVE the way this styled set turned out! The colors are just beautiful. So bright but so crisp! I was a little worried I wouldn’t like this backdrop but I really love it. These sessions start Tuesday!! I hope the snow doesn’t delay them, because I’m very excited!!
