Don't forget about the tub

I love this tub prop so much. My middle daughter Madelyn is modeling is in the image below. She was 6 years old when this image was done. Although she's petit for her age, she's still much bigger then a 1 year old. It just shows you how large and beautiful this tub is. When you book a cake smash with me, you also get tub clean up shots at the end. Babies love this part so much. It also makes for amazing images.

Tricycle

I was searching for a larger vintage tricycle for about 9 months. Something that was vintage and showed age but was not falling apart. My vision was to use it for Easter sessions. Although it can be used for so much more. I was not a fan of the color, which I believe was not the original color anyway. The wheels had a lot of over spray, and the color looked too new for something that was made in the 1920’s. Any way, my husband went to pick it up and as soon as he got it home I cleaned it up. I decided a beautiful seagrass paint color would do it so much more justice. So I took my time, two days total. I got everything tapped off as perfect as it could get. It took me two days to paint it. I did many very light coats. After removing the tape and softly removing some over spray spots from the wheels. This beauty is almost done. I plan to attach a basket like the 3rd picture. Maybe I’ll fill it with flowers, maybe I’ll photoshop little bunnies or chicks in it? The possibilities are endless. Needless to say it looks so fresh, clean, and almost new.

A new year a new look

It’s been a little while since I blogged. I have been so busy behind the scenes. Brainstorming amazing ideas, hoping to take my photography to the next level. I want to provide my clients with beautiful memories, they will cherish and love for a life time. I am always learning, and I am always looking for ways to up the game for myself and my clients. I want to stand apart from the rest. I want to have my own look, style, and feel. I want people to look at my work and know exactly who captured those images. This has actually happened more and more lately and I love it so much.

I’m patiently waiting on my Valentines items to be delivered. I have something beautifully epic planned for that. I also have a gorgeous session planned for my youngest daughter. My littlest girl turns two in just 2 short weeks. Where has time gone?

Easter will be here before we know it and boy do I have huge things in the works for that. I’m excited to see what 2021 will bring. I am hoping this will be my year. I have some other potentially huge opportunities in the works also. That I hope will get me out there even more. Nothing will happen unless you dream.

Martin

This family was one of my very first clients when I decided to start my photography business. I look forward to seeing them. This year I got to meet their beautiful nieces as well. These images turned out so beautiful. The color pallet is amazing. They came dressed so well, as usual. I could not help myself and had to make three collages. There was just so many beautiful moments I wanted to share. I hope you have a very Happy Holiday Martin family and wonderful New Year.

Zane

I loved designing the set ups for this session. Hunter green was made for baby Zane. He was such a great baby. He never really cried but he wanted to be awake the entire time. He also peed and pooped on me haha. But it was all worth it because his gallery is amazing. Congratulations to Zane's entire family who also happens to be a part of my extended family. Carter

What a beautiful family. I have been photographing the Carters for a couple years now, and I swear Parker gets more and more goofy each time. This cool dude has a special Holiday birthday. He has so much personality and is so smart. I even got to meet the newest member of their family. Their crazy but adorable puppy. Not to mention, look how beautiful this location is. Upchurch

I look forward to extended family sessions so much. I also noticed when COVID started I have received more and more bookings for them. I loved visiting this families property (a place I have never been before) and meeting this beautiful family. Something about grandparents and siblings all together really makes my heart happy. Franks

What a beautiful family. I had so much fun with the Franks family for their family session. Their handsome little guy was so full of smiles and giggles. What a fun family session, and the perfect ending to my studio Christmas sessions for 2020. I am so glad I was able to meet the Crivelli family this year for their Christmas pictures. We had a blast, and it was so hard for me to pick only 8 images when I created this collage. I decided to hold a lot of my favorites back so they could be surprised. I first met this family last year for their Christmas session. I’m so happy I was able to see them again. What a beautiful family. You can tell how much they love each other from all their beautiful pictures. There’s so many great ones it was very difficult to narrow it down so I could make their collage. Boy do I love when my old daycare families come back and visit me for photography sessions. I was lucky enough to have Andrew in my daycare. Andrew is such a happy adventurous little guys. Paisley & Laila

Madelyn

My second daughter (I have three) turned 7 today. My sweet girl asked if she could please have ice skating pictures for her Birthday. So I absolutely made that happen. Anything for my girls. It warms my heart when I’m able to create something special for them. I’m always so busy shooting that I tend to overlook taking pictures of my own children. Anyway, Madelyn is my beauty queen. She loves all things girly. She is a mama’s girl and I adore her for that. She is wise beyond her years, and talented in so many ways. She makes me so proud and although she is tinny she is mighty. Nothing in this world could dull her sparkle.

Limbacher

I have been photographing this family for sometime now and I enjoy seeing them each time. Such a beautiful family, and this Mama and Daddy are so fortunate, to have two wonderful boys.
