Kicked it off with a bang, Saturday morning with The Mama and Baby expo. My first expo experience with Mary Purdy Photography. I absolutely loved my experience! I Was fortunate enough to meet some really awesome local venders.

Mermaid Smach and Splash <3
Happy Birthday to this sweet mermaid girl. I loved working with her momma creating this adorable set up fit for a mermaid princess. I have done Mermaid smashes in the passed and I LOVED challenging myself to create something completely different then from that I have done before. This beautiful girl was all smiles at first but she was not liking her cake. We thought the session was a bust till we got her in the bath and that's all she needed. I'm so happy her parents and I decided to stick it out a little longer because I was able to get some really wonderful images!

Sometimes when parents reach out to Photographers regarding mini sessions and their 5 month olds, I have seen photographers get worried since these babies tend to be hard to pose. Well this is proof that a Photographer should NEVER turn anyone away. A good photographer should be able to work with any child at any age. And a great photographer will capture beautiful timeless images like the ones you see here. <3 I'll take any challenge my clients give me because my number one goal is to fill their homes with beautiful cherished photos that will make them smile everyday <3

I'm so Happy to announce that I will be bringing my Mermaid sessions back for 2018. This year ill be starting them at the end of May and ending them in July if needed. I am starting to book in April and May so I wanted to get this out as soon as possible. They were so popular last year but sadly the weather did not allow me to book as many as I would have hoped. I'll be changing somethings this year. I'll have both a indoor and outdoor set up option. Both will be fabulous. I also plan to offer a pirate twist if any moms or dads ;-) love my mermaids but only have little boys! I'm super excited and I hope you are as well!! Please Pm me if you have any questions! I really wanted a boy after having Marlee and when I found out Maddy was a girl I was really sad. I didn't want another girl because I didn't know how it was possible to love another child as much as I loved Marlee much less another girl. I figured a boy would make it easier. I already had my princess why would I need another? I also remember how cute Mike was as a child and I wanted that. Well we don't always get what we hope for and in my case I wouldn't change Maddy for a boy ever. I'm not even sure I'm cut out to be a boy mom. Marlee and Maddy are alike but so different as well. When Maddy was born and I saw how wonderful Marlee was with her I knew right away our family was perfect and we didn't need a boy to complete us. I love being a girl mom, I love my girls, I love their bond, I love how much they adore each other and it shows threw all the images I capture of them! My two rainbow girls are perfection and even more perfect together!
