From my family to yours
Behind the camera, I carry my own story of loss. As a mother of three beautiful rainbow babies, I know firsthand the pain of miscarriage.
My husband and I are deeply grateful for our three daughters and the joy they bring to our lives. That love, alongside our own journey, inspired Purdy’s Rainbows.
Through this project, I hope to share a little joy with families who have experienced loss and create photographs that celebrate their children and the love surrounding them.

About the sessions
Once a year, I gift a rainbow baby-inspired photography session to one family.
These sessions are for families who are expecting or have welcomed a baby after miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or child loss.
You may apply for your own family or nominate someone you care about.

Tell me a little about you
Complete the application below for your family or someone you would like to nominate. Share only what feels comfortable.

Families are selected
One family is selected at random once a year using a name generator. If you are not selected, you are welcome to apply again in the future.

Watch your inbox
The selected family will be contacted by email and will have 48 hours to accept the gifted session. If they decline or do not respond within that time, another family will be selected.

Meet Purdy’s Rainbows
Every photograph represents a family who has trusted me with a meaningful chapter in their story.
Some families have joined me for one special milestone, while others I’ve had the privilege of watching grow through the years. Each one will always be part of the heart behind Purdy’s Rainbows.
Giggles, confetti, cake, and plenty of splashing made Charlie’s second birthday session such a joyful celebration. His sweet personality made every colorful moment even more memorable.

From a shy little baby to a joyful three-year-old, watching Jack grow has been such a gift. Each session has captured another little piece of the personality he’s growing into.
